Broes is sinds mijn studententijd mijn bijnaam. Ik ben Thijs Kuipers, woon en werk in Eindhoven. Sinds eind 2007 werk ik als zelfstandige, eerst parttime naast mijn studie Industrieel Ontwerpen, sinds februari 2009 fulltime.

I’m a freelance Search Engine Marketing consultant and Web developer, based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. I’ve worked for a variety of clients, ranging from one-man to medium-sized companies, on implementing and optimizing their websites.

Optimization ranges from Search Engine Optimization (both on-site and linkbuilding), increasing the conversion rate of Search Engine Marketing campaigns by improving (among others) the landing page and keyword bid strategy, to a full conversion tracking system, including the installation and configuration of a Customer Relationship Management system (Microsoft Dynamics CRM).

Web development on both front-end (user experience/interaction) as well as back-end design and implementation. The standard CMS solution I use is Umbraco, an open source, but very reliable and extensible ASP.NET Content Management System.

In my spare time I like to develop widgets for Mac OS X Dashboard, watch a movie, go windsurfing, hiking or biking or just spend the weekend with my girlfriend and friends.
